Hey everyone, I’m making this post to offer an option for people getting started with government contracting using the middleman strategy.
I’ve been doing SAM.gov government contracting for over 2 years using the middleman process. If you’re not familiar with it, the idea is that you act as the primary contractor, find a subcontractor/supplier that gives you pricing, then add your own profit margin before submitting the quote to the government.
For me, the hardest part when starting was finding contracts that actually fit the middleman model and weren’t extremely expensive or difficult to fulfill.
After getting deeper into this niche, I ended up creating a bot that searches contracts for me instead of spending hours on SAM.gov digging through the thousands of opportunities posted every day.
This is NOT a course-selling post. I simply have a Telegram group that costs $35/month where the bot posts contracts every day that are actually worth researching and bidding on.
I’m not selling a course because honestly, if you search online, a lot of people charge thousands of dollars just to help you create an LLC and register on SAM.gov, which in my opinion is a complete scam.
Another thing I started doing is building custom bots for specific niches. For example, if you only want contracts related to electronics, construction, medical supplies, logistics, IT, etc., I can create a bot that filters and searches specifically for those opportunities instead of wasting time going through unrelated contracts.
