FC Porto player Jan Bednarek and his family were the victims of a robbery at their home on Friday night in Porto. Bednarek was threatened with a knife by one of the five robbers who entered his house and stole watches and jewelry with a total estimated value of around 150,000 euros.
Around 9 PM, the Polish soccer player returned home with family from dinner and surprised five strangers inside his house in the Foz area of Porto. There were four men and one woman, who spoke Spanish, according to information gathered by JN.
Investigators suspect the assailants had been watching the soccer player leave the house, but didn't expect him to return so quickly. One of the assailants allegedly brandished a large knife and threatened Jan Bednarek, who did not react and therefore was not assaulted, nor were his family members. The assailants stole two watches, two wedding rings, and a bracelet. PSP personnel dedicated to criminal investigation were present at the crime scene. The player's house is equipped with video surveillance cameras.

According to information gathered by JN, FC Porto has guaranteed support to the Polish player and his family from the very beginning.
When they learned of the incident, on Friday night, the club sent team members to the player's home to provide the necessary psychological support and address any potential security concerns. Bednarek's daughter was with her father when he was threatened and witnessed everything.
