Has anyone developed treatment emergent central sleep apnea after starting CPAP?

I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea via an at home study and started CPAP at the end of January. I’ve struggled with it (mask comfort, humidity changes, taking it off at night), and overall I’m not sleeping well.

After all this my doctor suggested an in-lab study. I got my results today and my doctor said I now have Treatment-Emergent Central Sleep Apnea and wants me to do another study to switch to Adaptive Servo-Ventilation.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and whether switching machines or adjusting things helped? I’m kind of at the end of my rope here and losing my patience for all of this.
