I got a CA for hitting my 5th (I'm in California) about 4 months ago. It's the first time in all my years working here that I hit my 5th.

I have no other warnings or CAs.

The TL who went over the CA with me said "Don't hit your 5th again or you'll get fired."

Today due to circumstances completely out of my control, I hit my 5th again. My TL knows about the previous CA for this and told me not to worry about it, that I would just get a Final and not be fired.

Who is correct? I'm kinda stressed out about the conflicting info but HR wasn't in to clarify when I left work.
