Firstly I want to talk about why i want to become a hairstylist
Like many other stylists that I’ve met, the reason why I want to become a hairstylists is to make people feel confident in themselves since I myself lack it very much. But before, I wanted to become an artist and sell my paintings but its in low demand i suppose? I found out you could basically paint on hair and a huge inspiration for me is @empalmm on instagram. It blew my mind and I knew that being a stylist is what I want to do. I actually start cosme school May 26th.
I came across a post on this subreddit that pretty much gave me a spook and is why im asking “Will i regret this”. On this certain post almost every single comment said they regret their job choice and would prefer to do something else than styling. A lot said their clients where the issue, or body fatigue, money is a big problem, its mentally tiring (which i understand can come in the industry which im prepared for)
I am willing to fight for my passion, art is my everything, but I would really like to hear other stylists opinion! Will i regret my choices?
