GAF Ultra UHDZ or Certainteed Landmark Pro
I’m trying to decide between two roofing options and could use some advice.
One is CertainTeed Landmark Pro installed by a ShingleMaster, which includes a lifetime material and labor warranty along with a 10-year workmanship warranty. The other is GAF Timberline UHDZ with the Lifetime Golden Pledge warranty, which appears to offer stronger overall coverage.
The contractor I’ve chosen is highly rated (5 stars), vetted, and certified as both a GAF Master Elite installer and a CertainTeed ShingleMaster (not Select). They’re offering either system at the same price.
Given all that, which option would you choose and why?
