I’m usually skeptical of bank promos, but the Wealthsimple Unreal Deal is worth a look before it ends on April 30.

If you transfer $25,000+, you can get up to a 3% match, and the bonus is paid out monthly over 1, 3, or 5 years depending on the option you choose. They also reimburse one transfer-out fee for every $25,000 transferred in, which is a really nice touch if you are moving money from a big bank.

I moved my money from Scotiabank to Wealthsimple and, honestly, it has been a great experience so far. The app is super simple, everything feels easy to set up and manage, and the chequing account can earn up to 2.25% interest. Just wanted to share in case anyone’s been thinking about switching or moving funds. Cheers!
