Never give up
I got this maxima x campanulata x veitchii in December as a freebie with some other plants. It was half dead and only had 3 yellowing and burnt leaves. After repotting, I cut off the leaves that were turning black and after watching it for a month or so I realized the growth point wasn’t moving. So I cut below it on the main stem right above the good leaf. I kept it in my highland tent and watered it the same as my other plants. Three ish months later and it’s making new leaves and looks like it’s starting to form tendrils!
Moral of the story is that it isn’t dead unless it’s dead.
