We are currently enrolled at OBMC and are considering moving to De La Salle Zobel. We moved from Australia last year, and one of the reasons I’m feeling quite torn is because we’ve truly found a wonderful community and genuine friendships at OB — both for our child and for us as parents.
However, we do feel that OB is lacking in some areas that are important to us, particularly sports, extracurricular opportunities, library activities, playground facilities, and computer classes.
That said, leaving behind the friendships and comfort we’ve built here is not an easy decision at all, which is why I would really appreciate hearing honest experiences from DLSZ parents.
How is the overall community in DLSZ? How are the children in terms of behavior, environment, and values? And how is the parent community and relationship among families?
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from families who may have experienced a similar transition. Thank you so much.
