Hello! I am an incoming student in UPD under BSMatE but I am still quite undecided on what course/field I would really like to pursue. I know that my heart belongs in the engineering field but I do not know which one. This is why Im thinking of it on the more practical side of it which is why I decided to apply for materials engineering.

Given that AI continues to develop, I am worried that a lot of engineering jobs will soon be taken over by AI. Just wondering how well a materials engineering graduate would do, especially in the Philippines, or would it be better abroad (if opportunities arise) in terms of job security? and what would be some examples of it?
