For those of you from pretty average-income families, how did you manage to get a student line of credit? My parents would be my co-signers, but they make under $120k combined. I’ve talked to a few banks and it sounds like they expect co-signers to be making $200k+, which just seems kind of out of touch tbh. I’m planning to study medicine in Ireland, so if anyone’s been in a similar situation, which bank/lender worked for you? Would really appreciate any advice, tips, or alternatives—especially from people who aren’t coming from super high-income families.
