Possible spoilers. I've enjoyed this book for the most part but why why WHY do so many of the people trying to kill the MC just continue to be let off the hook? There's one character who is a typical young master in all the worst ways try to kill the MC maybe 4 or 5 times and STILL he's let go. That's not the only case either, a few others groups try to sabotage or kill him multiple times with no consequences as well and it's driving me insane. Like the MC could cure world hunger and they would still try to kill him for it.

Does this continue to happen? I might have to drop before I pull my hair out

Hey all, I haven't played 2k since the year that awful badge quick draw was the meta. I don't understand how to get these and can someone help with that? Knowing 2k they're definitely monetized in someway but I've seen them turn builds from head scratchers into insanely good and I want to make a good a build as I can. Thanks!
