Upcoming SHS Student but I want to be more prepared for college—badly need advice! 😅
I, 16F, am an upcoming senior high school student under S.Y. 2026–2027. Many people tell me that I still have two years to decide and think about college, but as someone who is the eldest child from a middle-class family of five, I’d argue that I only have two years left.
I am fortunate enough to have a 100% tuition fee discount due to being valedictorian last year, and I can possibly obtain the same discount next year if I retain my top spot this year. I want to help my family, lalo na’t both of my siblings are going to school na rin.
I enrolled in the STEM strand under the Academic Track in my school, and I am planning to take a medicine-related course in college.
To the ate’s and kuya’s here, may tips po ba kayo for applying for scholarships and/or universities in the future? Wala rin po kasi akong mapagtanungan masyado, and nakikiramdam din po ako sa parents ko kung afford po ba naming pag-aralin ako sa malayo (for context, taga-probinsya po kami here in Bataan).
