Hi everyone. I’m considering applying to FAST Karachi and I’ve heard both really good and really bad things about it, which honestly has made me confused.

If any current or former FAST Karachi students are here, your help would mean a lot.

I wanted to ask:

- How is the faculty? Are the teachers good, experienced, and helpful?

- I’m interested in cybersecurity, so how is FAST for that field?

- How much “ragra” is there? Is the workload and pressure too much?

- How is the campus life and overall environment?

- Are there events, societies, networking opportunities, job fairs, or internships?

- Do they actually help students develop real skills, or is it mostly academics?

At the end of the day, do you think FAST Karachi is worth it?

I’d really appreciate honest opinions, especially from current students. Thank you!

I’m a class 12 student from Karachi and I’m considering FAST for CS/cybersecurity related fields, but after reading SO many Reddit comments and posts, I’m honestly even more confused now 😭

I’m interested in cybersecurity, but I’m not very strong in maths, so I’m also worried about the FAST entry test and whether an average student can survive there 💀

Another big issue is transportation because I live in Bahria Town Karachi. Does FAST provide any transport service from BTK, or how do students usually manage it? 🚍

I also got admission in Denning Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship in Bahria Town for a 4-year national degree. My original plan was to study there and do cybersecurity certifications alongside it, but now I’m not fully satisfied or sure about my decision.

Would you recommend FAST over Denning in my situation? Is FAST really worth the stress, travel, and workload? 🤝

I’d really appreciate honest advice from current or former students.
