My sesamoid has been definitely diagnosed as fracture! that being said on my 4th doctor, almost two years later, the damage is already done. I need a sesamoidectomy and a bunionectomy due to loss of sesamoid and slight anglation of the first bone. that being said, its definitely a hefty expense to take on. However, i get it now or i wait and might have to pay more due to damage. any thoughts? insurance is covering 90% of the bill but im nervous. going into debt for surgery, but that surgery will let me continue my career (dog grooming) or i get a side effect and i can no longer walk either way. My doctor has done alot of these as a sports medicine doctor. but im shaking in my boots thinking about all the aspects of this!! It is scheduled for this friday so TIA. 😟🫰🏻first xray was when i had the trauma which was on TOP of my foot. fracture was dismissed as bipartite. second is last week.

edit: im in pain 24/7 nowadays. morning is tight and painful, working is painful, and going to bed at night is getting to the point where if ghe comforter lays on it, its in pain.
