Potters Block - What Would You Do?
I've had too many exhausting weeks at my day job and I have to fire up my kiln, but I’ve hit a creative block. I’m struggling with indecision. I love these pieces, but I’m nervous I’ll mess that up. I'm hoping to get inspired by ideas on how you would personally glaze these.
- Mini pitcher - picturing it southwesternish. Obviously I'll clear glaze or leave the underglaze portions bare. But I can't decide what glaze to do for the top and inside. I’ve been liking Mayco green jasper, but I think that would make it too busy. (Don't judge my handle. I still cry every time I make a handle.)
- Jewelry organizer to hang on the wall. Woodland theme, mushrooms and moss. But I can't decide whether to color or clear glaze the background. I was thinking make it look like faux wood? But I’ve never done that before so it’s scary.
