Need some help for a book or resources. I have a 454 for my dad's truck. It runs but I definitely want to gasket everything before putting it in his truck. I realise it's not a huge undertaking but there's more about this that I don't know than I do know. The engines out of an 82. I have the gasket kit ordered. Is the Haynes manual good? I've had them before and usually don't end up using them. The how to rebuild Chevy big blocks looks decent. But for the summer I just want the engine to run and can worry about upgrades/mods over winter. Just wanna be able to take him for rides before he's gone.

Hey I'm searching for a private contractor electrician/handyman, not a big electrical company. I got a bunch of outlets in my garage that don't work and have no idea why. I've diagnosed as far as my knowledge goes. So looking for recommendations please.

There is, or was when I drove by 30 mins ago, a scrap metal dumpster truck tipped over on its side coming onto the overpass from henday northbound. He got to the acceleration and the wind flipped him. Cutting off the right hand lane. West bound is down to 1 lane now. Can still go around and get to the offramp for henday south of Sherwood freeway.
