Trying to fix a poor lawn this year. I core aerated and dethatched. New to the lawn game so went safe and added Scott’s step 1 a few weeks ago. I noticed where the dog pees the lawn gets very long and dark green. I read this means my lawn is lacking nitrogen. My question is, would I benefit from applying nitrogen to my lawn? Can I do it in even though I already laid down Scott’s step 1? If so, what kind do you recommend? I see there is liquid nitrogen, and a regular spreader version.
