Iron deficiency anemia, 16 female

I’ve been dealing with multiple symptoms over the past few months such as fatigue, weakness, and dizziness. On top of these symptoms, I’ve also been dealing with stress and anxiety due to high school pressure, which has lead to irregular periods, suppressed appetite, and insomnia. After finally convincing my mom to take me to the doctor my blood work showed:

Hemoglobin: 9.6

Ferritin: 6

Vitamin D: 9.9

I wasn’t really surprised by these results because I’ve been feeling off for months now and this isn’t the first time my blood work has been abnormal. Around this time last year I went through something similar that resulted in multiple ER visits and hematologist referrals.
I don’t wanna bore anyone with the details, but I’ll just say it was a very difficult experience. Unfortunately, I’m now dealing with iron deficiency anemia and have been prescribed medication. Honestly I just feel so alone and it’s been so hard to get through the day because of the constant brain fog and fatigue. Today I thought I was up for a game of volleyball, but an hour later I felt terrible. I had the worse headache ever, lightheadedness, and a bit of chest pain. Honestly this terrified me because it reminded me of how I felt a year ago. As I am writing this, I feel better after resting and drinking water, just in need of support so any advice or kind words would be appreciated!
