Since my guys reproductive red spots behind his front arms, his arms also got like, chunky or swollen looking? Is that normal for them? I’ve attached a photo of him (Austin).

I got them less than 3 months ago so trying to get as much advice as possible to keep them healthy. I also recently had an ammonia flare in my tank, caught it and got it under control quickly. (That could be unrelated but figured it included it just in case). Thanks for your time, and advice it is very much appreciated. 🙏🏻
