Hello all, for privacy purposes I will remain anonymous and give only critical details for my situation. I am not new to the navy, I have been in for 5 years. I can't post this to r/navy for some reason.

Back in October 2025 I was recommended for administrative separation due to mental health/ alcohol abuse. I went through SARP and completed it, and have been seeing a counselor. My case is not very complicated or uncommon. However, I am still in the Navy and have no idea where at it my separation I am at, but I have completed all of the discharge requirements (TAPS, Final Physical, gear turn in, signing several forms, etc.).

I recently had a newborn and am trying to get my life in order after transition so I can take care of my family but now am having to push off summer classes for college due to not knowing anything about my situation.

Due to being in the process for 7 months now, I am Wondering if anyone had insight or any advice. I appreciate you in advance.
