Kids with ebikes
Going to sound like a massive Karen but fuck it 🤣 So apparently, I’ve been living under a rock the past few years and I’ve only just discovered what E bikes are about two months ago. I was researching ways to get to work with gas getting so expensive. I bought a used one the other day and have been driving it getting to know the bike. this specific model will get up to about 53 miles an hour if you’re going downhill, which on that thing felt insanely fast. something that I’m figuring out by reading Reddit pages, social media, and the news is that parents are buying these bikes for their children!? I just wanted to come in here and ask are you guys fucking insane? There is absolutely no way in hell I would ever buy one of these for my child, I was driving one mine at top speed on some back roads near my house and felt like I was going to kill myself. I am a 26-year-old man… 😭You’d have to literally be psychotic to buy your 10-15 year-old child one of these bikes. an absolute disaster waiting to happen, a death wish for your kid. Can an adult on here who’s bought their 11-year-old a bike this powerful explain to me why in the hell you would do something like that? I’m not talking about the parents who buy these for their children and ride them together, I’m talking about the ones who get these for a child and then let them do whatever the fuck they want. I hate to sound like a Karen but I CANT believe there’s children riding these things. I can understand some of the slower models by why the hell does your kid need a Sauron or freego? Definitely all rhetorical questions I think I just wanted to bitch about bad parents buying their literal toddler a super bike.
Edit: Let me clear this up i thought only like 1 person would respond to the post 😭 I am being informed that what I’m driving is an EMOTO not an ebike. MY POINT STILL STANDS idgaf about the exact description of the bike, why does a child have a bike that can take them 30mph completely unsupervised? THATS the point of the post!!!!! to all the people correcting me thank you because I am now informed, but it’s still besides the point.
Also WTF I just scrolled through this E bike page for an hour and saw so many posts about children dying on the exact same kind of bike that I’m riding. They’re posted DAILY. Why anybody is arguing against a word I’ve said is fuckin bonkers to me???🤣🤣🤣🤣 pull your head out of your ass
