currently taking an allergic reaction to low dose allergen therapy. be careful if you try it

had a very diluted low sublingual dose (SLIT) and when i first took it felt sensation and maybe a slight itch in my ear but delayed reaction of horrible headache, itchy eyes and throat tightening, trouble swallowing, popped an anti-histamine and hoping that i wont need to go to the ER..

Doctors should try to be more like TV doctors...helpful, intelligent and caring

10 % (if that) are decent the rest of you are genuinely sociopaths with god complexes and not very smart. you suck at your jobs and the only reason equally stupid bro science is so popular is because nobody (rightfully) trusts you.

PEA experiences? just took my first dose..

I know I'm DUMB for taking a full dose right away..(400mg) at first i felt relaxed and now things aren't too bad but I'm a bit worried --a little ear fullness, pain in sensitive spots around my body-- but of course I don't know if this is a reaction to the PEA or just too fast on a mast cell stabilizer. I had to quit quercetin bc I am slow COMT. does anyone have experiences with PEA? did you have to go up slowly? thanks in advance. I hate this disease

I notice I tend to fall into this pattern easily (sleeping 4 hours, awake for a couple, back to sleep for a few more) and trying to force myself into monophasal is really hard. anyone else fit this?and biphasal sleep is often cited as the normal sleeping pattern pre industrial revolution but is there true evidence for it?

Slow COMT are warned about Quercetin and the like but I saw an article saying olive products can similarly slow COMT. has anyone with slow COMT experienced this? a friend and I (both slow COMT) get almost a manic energy from it?

Hi guys,

I started Quercetin before I knew i was slow COMT and some symptoms felt like they got better but many symptoms worse. I understand the insomnia, wired, etc getting worse with slow COMT but has anyone experienced actual worsening of allergy symptoms on Quercetin? like GERD, nasal, food reactions? this has been happening to me but I didnt know if it was the escalation of the disease or Quercetin. I cut the dose back, but I'm afraid to stop it altogether. thanks in advance. this disease sucks

I know recs for moderating protein are standard for slow COMT but what does that look like in practice (how many grams per body weight) and has anyone here experienced relief with lowering protein? I do really notice when I eat more protein I feel worse but am i crazy? and how much can we get away with? thanks in advance
