CMV: Cereal is Human Kibble

Change my view: It is low quality food pellets made from low quality ingredients. It is the human equivalent of dog kibble.

They use the cheapest ingredients and fillers. Hardly any nutrition, just calories.

Some niche brands use whole oats, nuts, seeds, etc. But most of the time it is wheat and corn formed into some kid friendly shape doused in sugar.

It isn't even cheap anymore. An egg and cheese sandwhich is cheaper and far better nutrition than a bowl of human kibble

What is the difference? Is cereal really just kibble for humans?

EDIT: A lot of people are making the argument that they are not the same, because kibble has full nutrition.....

So cereal, it's like human kibble,....... just without the nutrition.

Not really making the argument that cereal is anything more than low quality food pellets for human.

Like the title says. We have combis and a tilt kettle we use for our dried, and sometimes fresh pasta. #30 batches typically.

I don't really like the outcome of pasta from either. As well as being more dangerous acutely and chronically.

I've used pasta wells that could make this process more streamlined and safe, with a better result.

We are going into a full rebuild, and I'd like to convince chef on the idea. But am wondering if there is any other good uses for it one? Yeah you could boil and blanch veg, but we have combis.

Any suggestions?
