Questions from someone who'll have their makeup done by a HMUA for the first time.
Hi all! We're having a First Birthday photoshoot for my baby this June. Since I wanted to look nice for the photo, I decided to hire a HMUA who is based in Quezon City. I plan on making them go to our house to have my hair and makeup done (just one look), then we'll leave at 4pm to get to the photo studio by 5pm (actually may leeway pa yan since we could get to the studio in 30 mins).
The HMUA said that they'll be at my house by 12noon. I already clarified that I'll be leaving at 4pm pa. They replied "Yes po nde lng nmn po kse ako 30 minutes ng aayos hehe since wla po ako ksama na hairstylist. And 30 minutes din po mahigit yung byahe hehe." since this is my first time having my hair and makeup done by anyone besides my wedding day, I said okay.
After that they replied requesting for crew meals for 2.
My questions are:
- Hindi ba sobrang aga naman na 12pm ang call time? Hindi ba hulas na yung makeup ko by the time we leave at 4pm at ng photoshoot at 5pm?
- Talaga bang kailangan ng crew meal? This is just hair and makeup na one look. My peg isn't even that elaborate (as in blow out lang yung hair ko, like what they do to your hair pag bagong gupit ka). I'm not having them stay the whole day for touch ups.
- How long does it usually take for a HMUA (without a hairstylist) do your make up for a shoot?
