Realistic careers?

Hi, I'm sure questions like this are asked allllllll the time, but id like some input on this. I'm a 16 year old in high school and im planning on major in conservation ecology, probably at Iowa State. At Iowa state you choose out of 4 categories to specialize in, and I'll probably specialize in fisheries management, and maybe wildlife ecology as well if I can. Lately I've been super stressed about whether I'll realistically be able to get a job im happy with after college.

I honestly just want to do field work. I'm a huge outdoors person and my favorite thing to do is go out and observe stuff in the wild. I realize this isn't always the best paying, and may become harder and harder in my future, but I think this is truly what I want to do. Will I realistically be able to do only (or at least primarily) fieldwork jobs? For the fisheries side of things, most states including Iowa do freshwater fish surveys, and id love to do that. For the wildlife ecology id really love to do something with herpetology (like reptile surveys), but id also love to do bird banding, mammal trapping, camera traps, etc. I realize this is what many consider the "fun" jobs, so im kinda scared I won't be able to get these kinds of jobs.

I also know that this may involve lots of travel, which I think would be a benefit for me (as long as it doesnt cost me tons of money). Any input or any thoughts from people with experience would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
