Hello. I’ve had PSA for 20 years now. I’ve had both hips replaced, knees aspirated several times, and toes that have swollen and deformed. Now I’m experiencing swelling and pain on the top of my foot in the middle. It’s been hurting for months but lately there are days it hurts so much I can barely walk. It also snaps and pops whenever I walk. I feel like I have fluid on the joints because it’s puffy and when I press the puffiness it redistributes. But the podiatrist I’ve started to see says that he didn’t see fluid on the MRI. Does anyone know if they aspirate fluid on foot joints like they do on knee joints. He gave me a cortisone shot Monday but it hasn’t helped at all. It’s almost made it worse. Has any experienced this?? This is a new one for me. I feel like neither the podiatrist or my rheumatologist is listening to me when I try to tell them what I think is happening.
