Last day I downloaded AC Black Flag (Jackdaw edition) from fitgirl and installed the game. I specifically disabled the "Run the program as admin" compatibility option of the game shortcut. I particularly remember after the installation brave browser opened the fitgirl site (as usual) but something else happened; on top it said something along the lines of browser settings changed outside the app and I ignored it. I played the game for a few hours and went to bed. This morning when I opened my PC it wouldn't connect to the internet. It connects to my wifi but says "no Internet", I even tried usb tethering and still nothing. In no way could I access the internet, tried many fixes- 1. Reset network settings 2. Reset browser settings 3. Assigned manual DNS 4. checked Registry for any changes and at last did a system restore to the point before the game was opened for the first time and it worked. Any idea what happened? Should I run the game again or just delete it?
