Youtube has been a great space because I was happy with the content (I took out the time to fix my algorithm). There were many flaws but my account somehow was filled with top educators and creators from other content types that I absolutely love. But then came SHORTS.

I have issues with these:

1. Opening youtube and suddenly SHORTS pop up and not the home window. Many times I forget why I opened the app in the first place.

2. The search is very limiting even with all the filters. Youtube has huge database but the results are few. I didn't bother to count. Then followed by unrelated general content.

3. Even if you accept all the flaws, the quality of shorts are just unimaginably bad.

4. I find shorts and even instagram reels bad for my attention span.

I think this is the time to find alternatives and I have found some. I pay but it doesn't hijack your attention. I have been feeling the same since a year or so. The recent update about Shorts seem promising. Lets wait and see.

Edit: I finally got the update and can set the short limit to 0 minutes now.

Is this the normal tds level? Most filters are rated for below 2000. Any advice? What are the tds and pH levels in your areas?

Im thinking of buying RO UV (both pre tank e boiling/normal UV with or without UV LED in tank)

A really weird thing is happening. I tried uninstalling photos application but now the older windows media player pops up and does the same. I uninstalled phone link too. Few days back the camera light was lit randomly.

I'm thinking of clean installing windows again. I have no clue what's happening.
