The VTB did some damage but it wasn’t as bad as it could’ve have been. What we know was taken:

2 Scared Shades: The Rat King and Abundance.
5 Memories: The Handy Bracelet, Quintessence Pearl, Definitely Not Me, Overpriced Saddle, and the Shadow Chair.
1 Citadel: Black Millipedes in Burnt Forest.
In addition to tens of thousands of other Shades and possibly many other Memories.

However, we know Sunny still has the Nameless Temple, Weaver’s Mask, and the Shadow Lantern. As well as The Moth and The Wolf (assuming it is one of the shades Sunny or his Shadows managed to kill).

Overall, that’s not a bad price to pay for getting his Fate and True Name back as well as for the world to remember him again.
