Hello all. Longtime lurker, frequent snarky response giver, physics dilettante with a genuine question.
Last I knew, we still hadn't settled the Hubble Constant, and I don't even know if that would apply to my question, but...
A post today about the observable universe's size got me wondering; if space itself CAN expand faster than *c*, does it necessarily mean that it IS? Always? Uniformly? Relativistically?
Am I, a person with mass on a planet with mass, currently moving faster than *c* in general, or only to an observer 93 billion LY away?
Listening to the new Cognizance, something finally clicked for me.
I thought I didn't like tech-death. Today, I realized that I like BRUTAL tech-death; what I hate is WIDDLY tech-death.
Now, I'm going to go worship some Cryptopsy and Aborted. OH! And some Artificial Brain!
Anyway, happy Friday.
I'm really weirded out by this thing, Facebook comments also don't know what it is. Anonymus poster thinks it's a Pearl. Other people say it's junk, or "whale sperm".
Anyone that's an expert?
