I have an OC that I've been working on for a bit, and I've gotten to the point of trying to finalize a task force/fleet for them.
They're an Imperial Commodore, serving just at the end of Palpatine's original reign, being promoted just before rhe Battle of Endor and being given command of a Secutor-class as his flagship. He's meant to patrol the northern Outer Rim territories, what would eventually become the Pentastar Alignment.
My question is this, what ships would pair well with a Secutor? The problem is that he's being given specifically older or out of date ships, rather than new, up to date, hence no ISDs in his fleet. I was already tossing the idea around of adding some Venators to his fleet, as he is much more of the idea of fighter superiority rather than ship superiority. That being said, I do want some ships that could punch hard while having a good fighter compliment, hence why I thought about adding some Victory-Is.
I'm also not sure what I'd want to add for screening...I'd love some advice from people here!
