The way Gege writes binding vows is just a nerds dream

I know we clown on Gege for making rules up as he goes sometimes. But can we just appreciate how binding vows actually follow a logic that makes sense if you think about it like a game mechanic? Like the whole "reveal your hand to boost effectiveness" thing? That's literally just a risk/reward system. You give up info, you get more power. It's so simple but it works.

And the self imposed vows like Nanami's overtime? He limits his power during regular hours so he gets a buff when it actually matters. That's such a clever way to write a work mode vs serious mode ability without it feeling cheap.

I tried explaining this to my friends who don't read JJK and they just stared at me. So now I'm here. You guys get it.
