I’ve wanted to work at Genentech for a long time, but lately I’ve been seeing a lot of negative feedback online. I know things shifted after the Roche acquisition, but what’s the actual vibe now?

Given the current industry-wide downturn, is Genentech struggling more than its peers, or is the "squeeze" pretty universal right now? Would especially love to hear from current or recent employees about the benefits, job security, work-life balance, leadership/culture, whether there’s still a clear path for career progression, etc. Appreciate any honest perspectives people are willing to share!
