I am a working professional currently renting a room from an indian family in county meath. I pay €600 every month. The room is a single room , quite small and sharing the bathroom with another tenant. One other room in the house is also rented to another person. The family have two bedroom in the house with one attached and one detached. The utility bills and the electricity bills are split as three ( the family is one share) . Is this normal while renting? I recently got my share of electricity and utility bill and my share was over 180€ for two months from February to April.
