my hubby had just been diagnosed with stage 4 that had spread to every lobe of his liver and both lungs. we go tomorrow to install a port for the first round of chemo. he is having so much pain in his back that he can't sleep, is there any things to help give him relief?

backstory- went to ER because of distended stomach and inability to eat or poop. enter cancer diagnosis after ct scan and then an emergency colostomy. now almost three weeks later he is cleared by surgeon for chemo, and we start the chemo for life track. he is taking it well but the pain is getting to him and he just keeps losing weight.
