This is a stupid question. When you take the display component out of a device you'll notice that the pixels are always surrounded by black borders (not talking about the display's housing or frame), no matter the display technology (I'm sure it differs between them, though). Why can't the pixels just spread until they reach the edges, will that make them more prone to damage? Is it simply not possible? Why can't displays simply have no bezels?
