Hello! Having some trouble with a pattern I bought off Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1283726406/mens-sweater-knitting-pattern-pdf?ref=yr_purchases
I did a test swatch and my tension matched the pattern, but something is going wrong with the sleeves. Here's what it tells me to do after the ribbing for the cuffs and changing needle sizes.
"Proceed in st-st inc one st at each end of 5th and every foll 6th row until work measures 25cm.
Break off (colour) A, join in (colour) B.
With B continue in st-st inc one st at each end in every foll 6th row to 69 sts.
Continue in st-st until work measures 44 cm"
I did what I thought was right, but once I reached 69 stitches I was already WELL past 44cm, and the sleeves are far too long for how much more the pattern wants me to do.
I thought "st-st inc one st at each end of 5th and every foll 6th row until work measures 25cm" meant increase at the end of the first 5th row, and then each 6th row after that. Now I'm wondering if it is trying to say increase at the end of every 5th and 6th row.
Would love some advice before I frog and start over.
