So a few years back I was assaulted a few times by an ex boyfriend. The assaults were reported but I didn’t proceed with charges. He is now claiming I am harassing him. It started with him contacting me and when I finally tried to phone him back he would get angry and tell me he’s busy then contact the rcmp claiming I’m harassing him. I attended the court house once already a few months back in attempt to get a protection order but was denied because the judge said he couldn’t see the abuse reports. Is that because I didn’t press charges? I did contact the RCMP office after and the reports are still on file. So do I just go back and try again? He is having other people contact me and threatening me still. I really don’t want further contact with him and I do fear for my safety!
