I’ve been taking b12 for two months, and my sensitivity to caffeine, toxins, and my sleep and anxiety has improved way beyond my expectations.
Backstory: ex vegan for 5 years before then ate normal omnivorous South American diet. Went vegan do to my anxiety and depressive symptoms, even thought I had some sort of bipolar.
My health improved greatly removing gluten, soy, corn, and many allergic foods, but especially gluten, gluten was the worse for me, foggy mind extra anxious, and panic attacks (glyphosate) most likely, but after the end of the years as a vegan I felt completely drained and deteriorated. Had no explanation for this other than I hadn’t consumed meat for 5 years, once I started eating meat again late 2023, my health improved greatly, I ate lots of liver, felt my body needed it, but even that high came to a halt.
I started feeling lethargic, very itchy, unable to process any sugars and it got worse and worse. Noticed it got worse when I ate high histamine foods and sugar. I didn’t know what to do, many times I thought about ending my life, becuase I felt I had the will to accomplish so much with my life but my body didn’t want to move for me. This hurt me down deep.
Fast forward, I’m taking b12 and have found out about how it helps methylation, which is a way the liver detoxes in phase 2 of histamine.
I’ve been enjoying foods again like never before, high quality coffee, that made me jittery and anxious, high quality chocolate, teas, etc. Even sugar! I’m baffled that this whole time I was b12 deficient, (self diagnosed). I’m no MD, but I’ve done tons of detoxed and have experience with my body and years of health crisis.
Pls check your b12, even if they do lab test, some results can be false or misguiding or so I’ve heard, American standards are low. When in doubt take some and see what happens. Pay attention to your body. Blessings.
