My cat licks the sink faucet
My cat has always licked both kitchen and bathroom faucets. I drink and brush my teeth with the water that comes out of there and I’m just now realising how disgusting this is, especially considering cats wash their own butt with their tongue.
But idk what to do because I can’t really stop my cat from doing that especially when I’m not home.
I could start drinking water only from bottles I buy at the store, but I will still need to brush my teeth with sink water!!
Will I get parasites and go blind? I’m not going to lie I’m pretty afraid!! And today I still haven’t brushed my teeth which is pretty disgusting too I know but I’m to afraid to wet the toothbrush with that disgusting water. I just realised I could use the shower water, so I’m going to do that right now.
But I can’t be the only cat owner who has this problem right? What’s the solution?
