Welp, my first oil change and I fucked it all up.

2012 Sportie. I just changed my engine and primary oil.

The engine oil and filter change went fine.

Then I did the primary. Drained the oil. Went to put the drain screw back in. The manual said 14 to 30 ft-lbs. Had my torque wrench set to 30. I tightened but before I heard the click the bolt suddenly started spinning easier. I'm assuming it stripped it.

I got scared to keep twisting it so I went to add the oil. Took off the clutch cover, added the oil. Then I went to replace the cover and promptly stripped 3 of the torque screws. The manual said 120 in-lbs and I had the wrench set correctly. 3 tightened to the click, 3 got stripped. The primary leaks from the clutch cover.

I must be fuckin ham handed or something.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point but have it towed to a mech. I could order more screws for the clutch cover but the drain plug seems like a big fucking issue.

I'd love to hear any opinions on the shit.

Also, the last thing I did was to add 2 qrts of engine oil but can I run the engine to get it hot to check the level to see if I have to add more with low oil in the primary? I thought maybe I can because I won't be using the trans, so the low primary oil won't matter. I just wanna at least get the engine oil sorted.
