I've been doing IM (T enanthate) injections for about 7 years with no major issues; needless to say, I always use sterile equipment, I'm very careful to clean everything and do everything carefully and properly. 6 days ago I did my T injection on my right thigh (vastus lateralis), it was business as usual, no major pain, no swelling, nothing immediately after and on the days following the injection. Suddenly, 6 days after the injection, a few hours ago, I noticed a lump exactly where I had injected. It looks like a pimple, a small whitehead, on the place where the needle went in. The surounding area, like 1 cm around the "pimple", is a bit red and slightly warm. So far it only hurts slightly if I press it. I find it weird bc I always thought that if my injection site got infected, I would feel it immediately after...
First of all, I'm worried, and I'm also upset because I always take every precaution possible to avoid any infection and idk what I could've done wrong or if it's something else that's causing all this.
has anyone here had this before?
does anyone know if this is benign or should I panic lol
Thanks.
