This is NOT the X2000, but the old 2000 from the 90's. I inherited it from my Nana when she passed away.

So, I finally got a center. However, I noticed there are 2 center posts. When connecting into the top two = no output , the bottom two = no output. Top positive, bottom ground, and it works!

My questions are: Why are there two sets of center posts? Why does it only work on the opposing posts?

Some notes: input is a red and white component looking cables into the "CD" section. Idk why, but it doesn't work on Phono. I never tried the VCR ones. Sound output now is great. However, I'm no audiophile!
