Hey guys! I’m out in Chicago. Just got my license and been trying to find a fair priced 2021-2022 iron 883. I want to avoid dealership fees and have been shopping around for a private seller around Illinois/winconsin/indiana/ohio and they all are selling as if the bike was brand new… at that point, should I just deal with the dealership fees and just get a HD certified bike?? Or should I just pay private sellers their ask (been negotiating, most if not all are not very flexible from asking price).
I’ll just say this bc I feel that I’ll get comments on it:
- I know some of yall aren’t fans of the 883 but personally my favorite and only HD I like so no I won’t look into getting another bike bc I’ll “grow out of it”
- I’m financing through a credit union And I’m okay with financing it.
Also??? What’s up with peoples pricing being based on what they owe the bank instead of what the bike is worth?!
