So It has been about 2-3 months since i got accepted in the honors college and ever since I have been waiting for my form I-20 and I just found out that they only just started processing my request because of an issue with the application portal, I didn’t have a Hold on my account which is supposed to be there for me to submit my Statement of Financial Support, I had to call the university for them to resolve the issue.
Then there comes Orientation, all the dates for Orientation are before the time I can Legally come to the US, which is an issue because I can’t enroll for classes, or apply for housing because If i am not enrolled for Orientation or something my application would be voided, which brings me to another point.
Housing, I have tried countless times to pay for the housing fee with multiple different credit cards, debit cards, everything, but all end up showing the same issue “AVR mismatch” even if i put in the exact letter and space perfect spelling for the entire address in the portal, contacted the housing department regarding this and all they said was that if my payment was declined i would get an email in 2-3 business days, well it’s been 2 weeks and im still waiting.
My I-20 won’t get processed, my housing fee won’t get paid, I haven’t been able to enroll for classes because of an Orientation which I can’t even attend because of the dates, and im just stuck here waiting for stuff to happen because now even their phone lines won’t work for me to call. I call one department, they tell me to call a different department, then they tell me to go to a different department, and i haven’t even gotten my visa processed yet. If someone could help me out with this please feel free to reach out because im just tired of this now.
