Here we go again life in prison doesn't mean life in prison in Maura Massachusetts. We don't have to live this way!

Vote Red ♥️ and bring common sense back to the Commonwealth.

on October 9, 1993, after arguing with his parents, the defendant became angry and decided to kill them. He broke into his grandfather's quarters in the house that they shared and took a gun which he checked to be sure it was loaded. Later on in the day, while his father and his sister were about to leave in the family automobile, he asked to accompany them. He then went inside the house, shot his mother in the back of the head, returned to the waiting automobile, and shot his sister and his father each in the back of the head.

He drove the automobile to an area behind the house and moved his mother's body into his sister's room, locked the door, attempted to clean the bloodied areas, showered, and changed. With the bodies out of view he invited a female friend to visit him, which she did, and they spent the night together in his room.

The next day the defendant, his two aunts, and several cousins went to the Rochester police department to report the missing family members. Two hours later, the police went to the family's house, noticed a broken window and numerous red stains throughout the house, which the defendant explained as being caused by his sister's painting birdhouses red. After several hours the police found the victims' bodies and soon thereafter the defendant admitted to being involved in the killing of his family and was placed under arrest.

Now he wants to be let out and Massachusetts decided this monster deserves a chance. WTF 🤬

Quincy has money to burn! If it's not $750,000 statues it 79% raises for mayor and council. Brain dead citizens just accept this crap🤷🏾‍♂️

The Quincy City Council is debating whether to repeal large raises approved in 2024 for the city’s mayor and members of the council.

Mayor Thomas Koch’s approved raise increases his salary by 79%, making him one of the highest paid mayors in the country.

The council would receive a 50% increase.

Following public outcry, the ethics committee deferred the raises until the next term.

Now that new council is in office, some of its members are looking to scale back their salaries to the original numbers.

“I just want to make sure we handle this correctly going forward, that we get it right this time with proper guidance, insight and proper input,” councilor Deborah Riley said.

City solicitor James Timmins defended the raises, saying Quincy isn’t the only city with such increases.

“Before we moved forward on anything, we checked in with other communities, and there are other communities that did exactly what we did but nobody reported it.”

The council hopes to come to a decision before tehir summer recess in July so that the process of recalculating fair raises can start in September.

Massachusetts Democrats want ICE agents PROSECUTED by a 74-point margin — new poll has Bay State Dem voters supporting criminal charges 86-12

Massachusetts Democrats don't just want to limit cooperation with ICE. They want to throw the agents in jail.

A new Center for Strategic Politics poll of likely Democratic primary voters in Massachusetts's 6th congressional district has Bay State Democrats supporting the criminal prosecution of ICE leaders and rank-and-file agents by a 74-point margin. The split: 86 percent in favor. 12 percent opposed.

MA-6 is Congressman Seth Moulton's seat — the North Shore from Salem and Gloucester through Lynn and Peabody, plus parts of Middlesex County. The Democratic primary in MA-6 effectively decides the seat.

You really don't despise Democrats enough.

Massachusetts is feeling the shift as more people across the state are starting to say they can’t vote for Governor Maura Healey again.

A new survey from the MassINC Polling Group found Governor Maura Healey now has a higher unfavorable rating than favorable rating among Massachusetts voters as she heads toward reelection.

A lot of residents are frustrated over the rising cost of living, housing affordability, businesses leaving the state, and the growing feeling that Massachusetts is becoming harder and harder for everyday people to afford.

Boston man gets prison time for drugging, raping, then photographing girlfriend on Valentine’s Day 🤔

Boston man gets prison time for drugging, raping, then photographing the victim in Roxbury 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️. Isn't that the same place where that affordable housing is being built?

By Maria Papadopoulos, Boston 25

BOSTON — A Boston man also accused of disinterring another woman’s body in a trash bag will serve time in prison after being convicted of drugging and raping his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day in 2020.

Rinnyers Pena, 47, documented the crimes in photographs on his cell phone, prosecutors said.

A jury convicted Pena on Friday of two counts each of rape and photographing an unsuspecting nude person and one count each of drugging for sexual intercourse and strangulation, Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden said in a statement.

Judge James Lang sentenced Pena to 17 to 20 years in state prison with five years of probation to follow, including GPS monitoring and sex offender registration.

Pena is also charged with one count of disinterring a body in connection with the death of 38-year-old Alenny Matos, Hayden said.

(Boston Police Department)

A missing person investigation for Matos began on Jan. 27, 2020. Her body was found in a trash bag nearly four months later.

On May 9, 2020, a woman walking her dog saw a body inside a trash bag in the area of Enneking Parkway in Hyde Park.

Due to the body’s advanced stages of decomposition, investigators identified Matos through dental records. Pena is expected to return to court in that case at a later date.

Regarding Pena’s conviction for drugging and raping his girlfriend, Boston Police reviewed his cell phone as part of a missing persons investigation.

Investigators identified a series of photographs taken on Feb. 14, 2020, depicting Pena with the 21-year-old rape victim at a Norton Street address in Dorchester.

In several of the images, the victim appears unclothed and unresponsive or incapacitated on Pena’s bed, prosecutors said. Additional images depict Pena engaging in inappropriate physical contact with the victim.

The investigation further revealed that while living in a rooming house at a Notre Dame Street address in Roxbury, Pena strangled the victim, Hayden said.

During their relationship, Pena provided the victim with opioids with the intent to incapacitate her and facilitate sexual assault, prosecutors said. On two occasions, the victim reportedly overdosed and required emergency intervention.

A review of a second cell phone belonging to Pena revealed additional photographs depicting another unidentified person in a similarly incapacitated and vulnerable state.

Massachusetts is putting $10.5 million into building 110 new apartments in Roxbury’s Nubian Square. The project will turn an underused parking lot on Malcolm X Blvd into a mixed-income housing development with affordable and market-rate units.

Wonder what it will look like in 5 years?🤔🤷🏾‍♂️

Nubian Square (formerly Dudley Square) in Roxbury has an ongoing issue with crime, drug activity, and homelessness, which has escalated due to the displacement of individuals from the Mass. and Cass area. While many commuters pass through safely during the day, the area can be rough, and visitors are advised to exercise caution, especially at night.

Massachusetts small landlords are sounding the alarm: a new rent control ballot measure could sink them financially and shrink rental supply just as the housing crisis deepens.

That way Black Rock can buy up their properties cheap and further throttle housing, and destroy the middle class.

Massachusetts education dumpster fire.

Massachusetts is No Longer First in Education. What Happened?

Posted on May 16, 2026

Bay Staters have long taken pride in our state's leadership on public education. However, World Population Review’s 2026 public education ranking puts Massachusetts at third, behind New York and Connecticut. That website now ranks us behind New York and Connecticut. On the other popular education ranking site, US News and World Report, Massachusetts has fallen all the way to fifth, although that site considers pre-k and higher ed, instead of just public K-12 schools. Regardless of which methodology you prefer, the story is the same: Massachusetts’ public education has gotten worse relative to its peers. The answer may lie in a fiscal crisis experienced by municipalities across the Commonwealth.

Help me I've fallen and can't get up.

Vote Red and stop this insane Massachusetts decline. ♥️

A piece of quintessential Cape Cod will be restored this summer, as a local lobsterman resumes a nearly century-old family tradition of selling from his home after being caught in small-town bureaucracy last year.

The Yarmouth Zoning Board of Appeals has approved a special permit for resident Jon Tolley to reopen his shop at his home this summer. A year ago, the board forced him to operate elsewhere despite a decades-long record of no complaints from his neighbors.

“I am glad that everything finally went that way, except it has cost me quite a bit of money to (fight) this,” Tolley told the Herald on Saturday, after the ZBA approval. He said he will have to wait about 20 days to secure the permit in hand.

Resident Cheryl Ball, founder of “Cape Cod Concerned Citizens,” an advocacy group that fights for regulations that maintain the region’s culture, said she applauds Yarmouth for “making the right decision"

Democrats are always mucking things up
