So I just took the aptitude test for IBEW Local 26 and oh my god I did not expect this bs. So I couldn’t afford the official study guide I could barely afford the application because i’m an unemployed 17 year old and my mom also doesn’t have any money to spare on the study guide. I looked up what I needed to study and most and if not all sources recommend I studied Algebra 1 and 2. When I tell you the math was nothing algebra it was quite literally nothing algebra it was middle school arithmetic math that I do not remember and was unprepared for. The sequencing, reading and folding paper was easy enough but the mechanical comprehension was so garbage. All the images looked hand drawn by a toddler and anyone could’ve messed up a question because of how poorly these images were made. I have a feeling I won’t pass is anyone else experiencing this?
