Taken a RMT ban due to irl friend
Im an EU player with billion+ fame and quite some networth. my friends (one of which a dormmate) recently moved from us to eu server to play with me. I bought an island as the one with premium and they moved in with me.
In short, one of my friends turns out to be an rmt-er and got us banned, we use shared chests and stuff, the island js began and he placed somewhere around 20m+ worth of items into the shared chests.
He bought a set of 8.3, 7.3 and 6.3 at 40M fame and i wasnt suspicous smh, borrowed and returned a couple times. Hundreds of hours wasted due to a friend's bad decision.
Moral of the story, always vet the account of anyone who trades u, no matter how good a friend you are with them. Although i dont believe this is a case of guilty by association...
Edit :
I searched around for similar cases, although they are not exactly the same they do provide some insight to my case.
My ticket number is 1606143 and i give consent to sharing my result in public, as many others who were once banned did.
In addition to my ticket, the rmt-er friend of of mine has also sent emails to clarify the situation(pull the guy off his bed and had a nice talk) i also had him forward one of my email as i did not want to send 3+ emails to support(apparently it bumps ur queue wayyy down or mutes ur ticket for good). The additional ticket for the same case is 1606231
I will also share the entire conversation(excluding personal information) with support staff for other players' reference in the future so cases like these(as couple other posts mentioned 'crossfire casualty') can be concluded more efficiently in the future.
