Started this hobby with the Supermix 4, and it was eye-opening. Didn't realize this was an entire world of new stuff to toss money at. Upgraded to the Kiwiears Astral, mostly for gaming, but they were great for music, so I was pretty happy. Because rabbit holes, I got the Volume S purely for music and it's been my go-to with my Astrals being my main gaming IEM(gave the SM4 to my girlfriend for her SteamDeck). But now...I got the itch. Where would I go from here? This would be primarily for music, and I listen to a lot of everything. Metal may be in the forefront, but I also listen to techno, rock (Muse), acoustic (Beck), and a lot of soundtracks. Am I in diminishing returns territory? Eyeball'n a jack of all trades, and something in that Astral/Volume S price range, if not a lil more if we are talking a wide margin of sonic difference. Halp!
